A Romantic Limited Edition Born from the Long History of Hirado, Nagasaki — The Town of Sweets

This sake was created with a single purpose: to pair perfectly with sweets.

Hiran (飛鸞) is brewed by Mori Brewery, located in Hirado City, Nagasaki Prefecture.

Hirado City is a special place in Japan’s culinary history — it was here in 1550 that confections from Portugal were first introduced, marking the beginning of Japanese sweets culture. This sake is named in tribute to "Hyakka no Zu (An Illustrated Record of One Hundred Traditional Sweets)", a treasured symbol of Hirado’s rich dessert heritage and considered Japan’s first illustrated confectionery recipe book.

Whether enjoyed with cakes, chocolates, fruits, or traditional Japanese sweets, this sake brings out the romance of history and offers a delightful new discovery with every pairing.

When poured, it has a delicate haze from fine lees.
The aroma is rich and inviting — toasty like a chunky cookie, with graceful hints of luscious fruits such as mango and yellow peach.

On the palate, a fine effervescence sparkles gently, followed by a velvety, full-bodied texture. A multidimensional sweetness and umami unfold, accompanied by a bready richness and lingering notes of juicy peach and mango, leaving behind a dreamlike, indulgent finish.

With its perfect harmony of bright acidity and deep richness, every sip captures the heart.
Delicious whether chilled or gently warmed — a truly exceptional bottle.
