”Wakamusume (わかむすめ)" is crafted by the husband-and-wife team of Yoshinao Shintani (President) and Fumiko Shintani (Brewmaster) in Yamaguchi Prefecture. I first encoutered Wakamusume in 2018 at a tasting event in Tokyo organized by the Yamaguchi Prefecture Brewers Association. Nowadays, there are many sake varieties that are floral and fruity. However, I remember being struck by Wakamusume's unique purity and elegance.

In recent years, Wakamusume has won numerous awards in competitions, including a gold prize at the Annual Japan Sake Awards and the highest Platinum award at the French competition Kura Master. These accolades have confirmed that my tasting ability is indeed accurate!
